Staff and Clients Share What They Love About Our IT Services Company
This year, Atlas Professional Services celebrates 15 years in business. In honor of this huge milestone, we thought we’d share 15 things that make our IT services company a great place to work. There’s no one better to speak to our company culture and service as a Tampa MSP than our employees and clients. Below is a list of 15 reasons they think Atlas is a great place to work.
-
Collaborative work environment
“The best thing about working at Atlas is collaborating with my team to help people solve technology problems,” said Kristin Johnson, Market Development Director, Managed Services. “I enjoy coming to work every day knowing that we all have common goals and always support each other.”
-
Supportive leadership team
“It has been a lifetime since I worked for a company that has great leadership,” said Paul Porterfield, Pre-Sales Engineer. “I believe I have found a home at Atlas, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team!”
-
Integrity of our team
“There have been times when we were working with or considering other IT providers, and Greg has always been honest and transparent about what Atlas could or couldn’t do for us, even if it meant potentially losing business,” said Eric Sternerg, COO of One Source Medical, an Atlas client.
-
Investment in continued education
“We are proud to support our team in their pursuit of higher education and technical certifications,” said Greg Zolkos, CEO. “When our team is performing at their highest level, we all benefit, especially our clients.”
-
Awesome people
“The best thing about working at Atlas is the people,” said Nathan Cartmel, Project Coordinator. “We have a great company culture that everyone plays an important role in and fits into. It’s great to be around all the awesome people we have in our office every day!”
-
Endless growth opportunities
“We’re proud to give people like Corey Brookes and others a launching pad for their career in IT,” Greg said. Corey started at Atlas as a Help Desk Technician and after earning his CompTIA A+ certification was quickly promoted to Systems Engineer I. “We’re excited to see him grow in his role and find his niche in the IT industry.”
-
Professionalism of our team
“I have spent my entire career in technology. And, it is an honor to be a able to practice my craft at a company that cares about its clients and has the professionalism of Atlas,” said Jef Thompson, Senior Systems Engineer.
-
Great sense of humor (especially for an IT services company!)
“The thing I love most about working at Atlas is the laughter and camaraderie,” said Linda Kraft, Director of Systems Architecture. “We manage to have a lot of fun while solving problems, which makes me genuinely enjoy going to work each day.”

Relationships with our clients
“Over the years, we’ve worked with Atlas to build solutions together,” said Mike Boland, founder and partner of TelAdvocate, an Atlas client. “There’s been a tremendous amount of collaboration, where we really rely on each other to perform and meet the end-users’ needs. It’s been a fantastic relationship.”
-
Family-like environment
“We spend one-third of our lives with our co-workers,” said Adrian Swaim, CFO of our IT services company. “Some of us see more of our co-workers than we do our families, depending on schedules. It is very important for everyone at Atlas to really get along and feel like one big — albeit sometimes slightly dysfunctional — family.”
-

Atlas has been ranked on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work for seven years and won in its category in 2017.
