Atlas Professional Services Helps Jameis Winston’s Foundation Raise $325,000
Atlas Professional Services was proud to serve as technology sponsor of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston’s “A Night to Achieve Dreams” fundraising dinner, held on September 14 at Avila Golf and Country Club. The event raised more than $325,000 for Jameis Winston’s Dream Forever Foundation.
The Dream Forever Foundation is dedicated to impacting the lives of financially disadvantaged children and youth through encouragement, opportunities and resources to develop and achieve their dreams. The foundation creates Dream Rooms, which are new state-of-the-art technology centers, in financially disadvantaged Title I schools.
Atlas President and CEO Greg Zolkos sits on the foundation’s executive board as a member and technology advisor, and attended the fundraising event.
“Our goals are to help reduce technology costs of the Dream Rooms, help set up the technology, and have our team from Atlas spend time onsite, mentoring and training the kids,” said Zolkos. “Not to mention supporting fundraising events. We had a great time at the dinner and were proud to be part of raising so much money to help kids in Tampa Bay.”
Dream Rooms are designed to expand personal learning opportunities and provide career exploration for students. They include a “makerspace” where students prototype new product ideas using a variety of tools and materials such as software, 3D printers, electronics, robotics and more.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians and several of Jameis’ teammates – including Cameron Brate, Mike Evans, Ali Marpet, Blaine Gabbert, Will Gholston, Ryan Griffin and Donovan Smith also attended the fundraiser. Jen Epstein of Fox 13’s Good Day Tampa Bay emceed.
