ConnectWise IT Nation Explore 2019 Q&A with Atlas Professional Services
Atlas Team Attends IT Nation Explore 2019
A few Atlas Professional Services team members attended ConnectWise’s IT Nation Explore 2019 conference (formerly called Automation Nation) in Orlando last month.
Atlas President and CEO Greg Zolkos, Director of Operations Linda Kraft and DevOps Engineer Anthony Lopez enjoyed three days of product training and breakout sessions, along with inspiring keynotes and plenty of play, all designed to stimulate success.
In addition to attending educational sessions, Greg spoke on a panel of current ConnectWise partners. He offered guidance, best practices and examples of the reasons Atlas converted to the ConnectWise platform rather than to a competitive vendor’s.
For those who couldn’t attend the conference, Linda shares her thoughts on Connectwise’s IT Nation Explore 2019 below:
What were your biggest takeaways from IT Nation Explore 2019?
LK: There is a new feature called ConnectWise Now that will be integrating all the components of the software suite. It will be alerting the user when they log in what needs attention, regardless of which component they log in to (Manage, Control, Sell, Automate). This will have a big impact on our techs being able to navigate between systems without having to leave their browser.
What was the most surprising thing you learned or heard at the conference?
LK: ConnectWise has released a single sign-on platform between their different components. This will make remembering passwords and creating and disabling accounts much easier.
What was your favorite part of IT Nation Explore 2019?
LK: A fun night of arcade games and go-karts at Andretti Indoor Karting!
How will what you learned at IT Nation Explore 2019 help you better serve Atlas clients?
LK: ConnectWise is constantly working to improve their partners’ experience. The newly announced features are very exciting! I also enjoy the ability to connect with fellow players in the industry, creating connections and building off each other’s experience to spark new ideas for what we can do to make our system even better. I’ve picked up some great ones that I can’t wait to put into practice!
