ConnectWise IT Nation Connect 2019 Q&A with Atlas Professional Services
Atlas Team Attends, Speaks at IT Nation Connect 2019
A few Atlas Professional Services team members attended ConnectWise’s IT Nation Connect 2019 conference in Orlando earlier this month.
Atlas President and CEO Greg Zolkos, Chief Financial Officer Adrian Swaim and Chief Technology Officer Stewart Collins enjoyed three days of education and networking for those who sell, service and support the technology industry.
In addition, Greg spoke on two panels. One addressed ConnectWise prospects. Panelists covered the capabilities of the systems and how to leverage them, and addressed concerns about migrating from another platform. The other panel covered the customer journey. Greg also as participated in two focus groups.
Conference Q&A
For those who couldn’t attend the conference, Adrian shares his thoughts on Connectwise’s IT Nation Connect 2019 below:
Q: What were your biggest takeaways from the conference?
AS: It’s obvious that security is, and will remain for the foreseeable future, one of the most important aspects of the services we provide to our customers. The number of cyberattacks continues to grow every day. As our customers’ trusted advisors, we need to ensure that our service offerings have a solution for this growing threat.
Q: What was the most surprising thing you learned or heard at the conference?
AS: One surprising thing that came out of the conference was the acquisition of Continuum by ConnectWise. This is an interesting value-added proposition from ConnectWise. It may not be something that Atlas would take advantage of, but it’s certainly an interesting aspect to keep an eye on as we grow.
Q: What was your favorite part of the conference?
AS: As always, my favorite part of IT Nation was getting to network with other MSP executives and discuss our mutual businesses. I always get an immense amount of value from these interactions, and almost every year I learn something from another MSP that I want to implement at Atlas.
