We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager, who will be responsible for planning, defining project scope, goals and deliverables, following change control processes and cost management of IT Projects. The ideal candidate has experience with floor plan outline, ISP deliverables, cable management, hardware and software deployment.

Our Project Managers are experienced in understanding how to translate the statement of work into a defined workplan to include a strategy that meets our customer needs and timelines. The PM must develop and maintain good working relationships with the IT project team and our clients to ensure long-term business partnerships and successful project deployment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Manager must have experience and aptitude to include the following standards and workflow:

• Initial approval process
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to document status updates to all stakeholders
• Understanding of resource allocation vs. work load
• Understands statement of work and creation of next steps
• Monitor and plan for procurement
• Soft scheduling of team resources
• Project requirements completed for internal kick-off review
• Develop workplan based on statement of work and assessment
• Organize kick-off conferences with customer based on statement of work, procurement status, workplan – timeline, risks, change control and frequency
• Hard schedule workplan based on customer and project team objectives for all deliverables
• Schedule Conference Touch Calls (based on Project Scope (size) and Timeline)
• Manage Change Control throughout Project
• Transition to Service Desk for ongoing support
• Understands closing attributes of a Project
• Understands budgeting and finance summary
• Manage post project reviews and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• • 3-5 years proven work experience in project management – IT industry preferred

  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
