Meet Technical Account Mgr/Client Resolution Specialist Jeremy Billie

Welcome to another Atlas Team Member Spotlight, where you get to learn more about our staff! This spotlight is on Technical Account Manager/Client Resolution Specialist Jeremy Billie.

Jeremy works with Atlas’ clients to identified IT-related pain points in their current environment, discuss possible solutions and establish both short- and long-term IT roadmaps for implementation. He originally joined the team in 2020 as a System Engineer I and was promoted to System Engineer II before moving into his current role.

Career Highlights

What do you like most about your current role and/or working at Atlas?

I love establishing relationships with our client base and having the opportunity to talk all things IT on a day-to-day basis. But, I would not have the confidence to do what I do if it wasn’t for the Atlas team working with me. Our engineers, sales team, solutions team, project team, management, etc. make what I do possible. I could not do it successfully without them. All of them.

What’s your favorite memory from working at Atlas?

My wife, Samantha, and I had our wedding “reception” at the Atlas office. The Atlas team has truly been family for us since we’ve moved to Florida, and we’re thankful they were all able to join us in celebrating with us that day.

What do you like most about working in the IT industry, in general?

The industry is constantly changing and evolving. It helps keep the job and discussions fresh. There’s always new technology and solutions to learn.

What advice would you give someone interested in pursuing your line of work?

Being technical is only a fraction of the job. Taking the time to listen, understand, effectively communicate, and form relationships with clients and having the client’s best interests in mind at every step of the way will not only make you successful, but also provide a sense of professional fulfillment day in and day out.

Outside of Work

What are some of your personal hobbies?

Spending time with my family. I’m a huge soccer fan, but I enjoy watching most sports and high-level competition.

What are some small things that make your day better?

No traffic jams on the Veteran’s Expressway on the way home, and the Florida sunrise on the way into work in the morning.

What was the best trip/vacation you ever took?

Rome and Florence in Italy. We’ll absolutely be back soon!

What’s your favorite sports team and/or sport?

Soccer. Borussia Dortmund from the German Bundesliga. (Heja BVB!)
