Vi Phommavong, Systems Engineer

• What are some of your personal hobbies outside of work?

I would say – cooking, photography, gardening, playing random instruments, board games, and planning my next trip. 

• What might someone be surprised to learn about you?

I was in an organization while studying at USF, where we would compete in several cultural/hip-hop dance competitions.

• What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?

Traveling the world, exploring different cultures and their cuisine. Kind of like Anthony Bourdain.

• What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

Anything food related, or maybe… “What your poop says about your health.”

• Tell us about your family and where you’re from.

My father is from Vietnam and my mother is from Laos. I’m was born in Worcester, Massachusetts.
