Atlas Professional Services Makes Top 100 Best Companies List
Atlas Professional Services was recently listed on Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018.
The annual Best Companies list is featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine. One-hundred companies are ranked in small, medium and large employer categories.
Atlas ranked #36 in the small-employer category. It is the fourth year in a row that Atlas has made the list. This year, only nine Tampa Bay companies – including Atlas – ranked on the Best Companies to Work For list.
“We feel that making Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018 is a tremendous validation that we have a healthy culture and productive workplace,” said Atlas CEO Greg Zolkos. “To be recognized for the fourth consecutive year is an honor. Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018
To participate in Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018, companies had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics.
The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking for Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018.
“Employers we speak with talk a lot about how workplaces are changing and how young employees’ expectations are changing,” said Florida Trend’s Executive Editor Mark Howard. “For the Best Companies issue this year, we spoke with new hires and got their perspectives on what attracted them to the companies where they now work and what they now like best about their workplaces. One key concern that young workers talk about is whether the company seems to care about more than their academic record and technical qualifications.”
“The best companies obviously provide strong pay and benefits to their employees, but they also offer fun diversions,” says Florida Trend Publisher Andy Corty. “And these top companies encourage employees to participate in the organization’s overall success with training and open communications.”
Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018 is part of an annual program created by Florida Trend and Best Companies Group. It is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey and analysis and determined the final rankings for Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For 2018.
Atlas also recently ranked #9 in the medium-sized company category for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work.
