Valerie joined Atlas Professional Services in June 2023 as a Project Coordinator. Since then, she has quickly worked her way up to the role of Professional Services Manager.

In her current role, Valerie specializes in managing and continually improving the professional services team while ensuring projects are streamlined with best practices and customers’ expectations in mind.

After graduating from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2020, Valerie joined the Bloomin’ Brands headquarters as an IT Implementation Coordinator and Technician. In this role, she oversaw IT services for new restaurant launches, executed installations and maintained a seamless flow of communication with stakeholders.

She also has experience as an IT Project Manager and Systems Administrator, and has even worked closely with Secretary of State offices during her time as Project Manager/Owner at Tenex Software Solutions for the Campaign Finance application. In that role, she oversaw the application’s management for the entire State of Idaho, as well as its successful deployment in Cherokee County, Georgia, and Berks and Bucks counties in Pennsylvania. She was also responsible for the Cybersecurity Matrix compliance and incident response team, which played a vital role in supporting all 22 state governments contracted with Tenex.

Valerie holds the CompTIA Security+ certification and has attained the Datto Certified Practitioner in SaaS Protection designation. To further enhance her skillset, she has her eyes on the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst certification and the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster certification course.

Outside of work, Valerie’s personal priorities focus on her family. To honor the memory of a cousin who lost her battle with brain cancer, Valerie and her family established nonprofit organization Payton’s Legacy, which creates and enhances programs in arts and education for youth. Valerie also has a cherished pup, a doodle named Benji.
