Chris Blocker joined Atlas Professional Services in 2025 as Controller. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting functions. He manages revenue reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, month-end closing and financial statements. Chris also works closely with Atlas leadership to develop finance strategies, procedures and best practices. In addition, he maintains customer and vendor relationships and oversees cash flow and utilization management.

Chris brings 14 years of accounting experience to the Atlas team. Over the course of his career, he has worked for organizations ranging from nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies across industries such as education, technology, manufacturing, medical and consumer goods. He has managed teams of up to five people, led systems implementations and successfully transitioned an international department back to the U.S.

A Tampa native, Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Tampa. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.

When he’s not working, Chris enjoys giving back to his hometown community.
